Reality Herald welcomes serious writers who can contribute reporting, analysis, argument, historical work, theological reflection, criticism, and scholarship with clarity, evidence, and intellectual fairness.
What We Are Looking For
Reality Herald is intended to develop as a multi-author publication rather than a personal blog. We are interested in writers who take evidence, argument, history, and competing claims seriously.
Contributors do not need to agree with one another. Strong submissions should make their reasoning visible, distinguish fact from interpretation, acknowledge meaningful objections, and avoid treating assertion as proof.

Analysis
Careful interpretation of events, ideas, institutions, research, or historical developments.
Typical length: 1,000–2,500 wordsEssays & Arguments
Defended positions in politics, culture, intellectual inquiry, theology, history, education, law, or related fields.
Typical length: 1,200–3,000 wordsHistorical & Theological Work
Church history, historical theology, doctrine, councils, creeds, primary sources, biography, and Christianity in culture.

- Originality: Submissions should normally consist of original work not previously published elsewhere.
- Sourcing: Factual claims should rest on reliable sources. Authors should provide links, citations, or source notes where appropriate.
- Distinctions: Reporting, analysis, argument, review, fact-checking, and satire should remain clearly identified.
- Fairness: Writers should represent serious opposing views accurately before criticizing them.
- Disclosure: Authors should disclose relevant financial, professional, organizational, or personal conflicts of interest.
- Attribution: Quotations, ideas, data, images, and research drawn from others require appropriate attribution.
- Corrections: Authors should cooperate promptly in correcting material factual errors.
How to Submit
For the prototype stage, Reality Herald is not yet accepting submissions through an automated form. The eventual submission process will request:
- the proposed article title;
- a short summary or pitch;
- the complete manuscript or a writing sample;
- a brief author biography;
- relevant source notes or citations; and
- disclosure of any relevant conflicts of interest.
A submission email address or form will be added before outside submissions formally open.
Peer-Reviewed Scholarly Articles
Reality Herald may publish a distinct class of scholarly articles under a formal double-anonymous peer-review process using two independent reviewers. The initial focus will include Christian legal thought and scholarly responses to legal arguments or legal scholars.
The Peer Reviewed designation will apply only to manuscripts that complete that process. Ordinary essays, commentary, reporting, and reviews will not carry that designation.
Editing, Rights, and Publication
Reality Herald expects to edit accepted work for clarity, accuracy, style, length, and organization in consultation with the author. Substantive changes should not silently alter an author's argument.
Final contributor terms—including copyright, republication rights, exclusivity periods, and compensation where applicable—will be stated clearly before formal submissions open.
Who Should Consider Contributing?
Journalists, scholars, historians, theologians, scientists, teachers, lawyers, clergy, graduate students, independent researchers, critics, and other serious writers are all potential contributors. Academic credentials can matter for some subjects, but clear reasoning, responsible research, and strong writing matter more than title alone.
